Your job
As a Business Consultant Data you are the expert when it comes to data management and data governance. You are responsible to support and guide Data Owners and Users in the bank’s data governance framework. As a Data Steward I&T you assist them in the various processes around data and data governance. You support, improve DQ and drive the process the make data more available in the organization and for your most important stakeholders you are the go-to person when they have questions or challenges that are data related.
Next to the Data Steward role you will also participate and/or lead various data management related projects within I&T. The implementation of Awareness and Education, Data Usership, Data Gap Management, Data Lineage and Data Sharing are a few examples of projects that the team has in scope.
Working environment
The team Data & Insights consists of Data Management Experts, Data Analysts and Data Scientists. In total approximately 25 FTE report to one manager. The team primarily services MT I&T and underlying departments like DM&A, Strategy Execution Office, P&T, Procurement and the CIO’s, but also participates in multiple bankwide projects.
The majority of the team consists of young talented data professionals that collaborate in projects and programs based on the capabilities that are required. We fully support the development of our colleagues and facilitate opportunities that support this development. Autonomy and flexibility are two of many characteristics of the team. We are normally situated at the Zuidas in Amsterdam.
Your profile
You have knowledge of:
- Data Management processes and standards
- Industrial Standards like Data Quality Management and Reference & Master Data management
- Agile and project management
- Knowledge of the vision and strategy of the bank, our service concepts, internal processes, the organization and its service and products
